BI Business Analyst Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 6-12 Month Contract To Hire Visa: GC/ US Citizen, H4 EAD, TN Visa Interview: Phone/ Skype. In Person if local *Position Title:** Business Analyst (BI focused)* *Required Skills:* 5+ years of experience acting as a Business Analyst working as a liaison between IT and the business 3+ years of experience within a Business Intelligence Analyst capacity Must have experience using BI reporting tools (Qlik Sense, QlikView or Tableau) Experience gathering and documenting business requirements Experience slicing and dicing data and making recommendations to that data Functional testing experience utilizing test cases is required Experience facilitating and leading meetings as needed Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum preferred) Experience creating prototypes for BI Developers *Desired Skills: * Exposure or experience with a Cloud project Familiarity with SnapLogic as an ETL tool Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field of study *Description of Role/Responsibilities: * We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join a company based in the greater Columbus, Ohio area. This person will assisting with a large, Enterprise wide initiative to migrate all of BI to the Cloud. Ideal candidates will have true “consultant” experience. We need individuals who have gathered requirements from the business, asked questions around current processes and procedures, examined data, created prototypes and then passed those prototypes to the BI Developers. The selected candidate will also be performing functional testing to ensure a smooth delivery to the business. This is a long-term, important initiative.
