***I am looking for a Lead Java Developer with over 10 years of experience
and Groovy experience.*
Project Description: This is not a project, but rather an ongoing
engagement with the Connections Engineering teams. A person in this role
will be senior
engineer in product team, and will be responsible for developing APIs,
integrations, and server side code using latest libraries and frameworks
and
provide technical guidance.
Responsibilities:
A person in this role will deliver new features, enhancements, and
foundational engineering tasks to deliver on a regular basis. Depending on
team, this
could be every week, or every two weeks.
They will guide and mentor a team to ensure artifacts to deploy are ready
and tested on time. There is also an expectation that this person would
also be
a hands on contributor to said artifacts.
Must Have Skills
Qualified candidates will have experience leading development teams in a
fast-paced Agile environment. They should have a combination of JavaScript
and Groovy/Java development experience of at least 10 years, with an
emphasis on Groovy. A very qualified candidate will be a hands-on
technical
leader who has experience delivering high scale applications.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and “content delivery networks” is a huge
plus
