*Solution Architect * *Location: Eagan, Minnesota* *Duration: 12 months (Contract)* Qualifications: · Solutions Architect must have experience on multiple hardware and software environments and be comfortable with complex heterogeneous systems. · The candidate needs experience in creating and leading the architecture of multiple projects through the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and has usually performed in a variety of different roles in that life cycle. · This position is for an Oracle Program Architect role with 4+ years of experience (architect, tech lead roles in addition to DBA) in planning, designing, and implementing Oracle RAC environments for fault tolerant OLTP application environments for large Java based transactional applications. · Experience implementing Oracle Active DataGuard or GoldenGate replicating RAC Clusters for an active/active production environment. · Experiences with web services (SOA) and Java a plus. · Must be a senior architect capable of defining solutions, leading teams, presenting to leadership. Responsibilities: · The role will require the individual to be responsible for the overall solution vision for the assigned projects. · The architect will identify and translate system requirements into a prescribed architecture blueprinting process and build/maintain the necessary artifacts. · The individual will collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Technical Directors, Project Managers, and Project Team members to validate the proposed architecture solution in order to enable the team to provision estimates, develop construction plans and prepare implementation approaches. · The person will need to work with various internal and external technical resources in order to drive consensus on an architecture design. · The architect will provide leadership to the development team to insure the realization of that solution.
