Overview

Provide expertise in the administration of server based *Healthcare
Technology Management systems*.



Description of work

Provide onsite administrator knowledge for systems supported by Healthcare
technology management for 12 months.

Kknowledge and experience to provide expertise in the management of such
existing systems as:

PFT

GI

CIS

ARK

Radiology

Ophthalmology

Access Controls

Surveillance

Sleep Lab

Patient Monitoring

Electronic Reporting



Contractor shall also have knowledge and experience to assist with
installations of new systems similar to the ones listed above.

Contractor shall also have knowledge and experience with:

*Windows Server 2003/2008/2012*

*Windows OS XP/VISTA/7/8*

*Databases: SQL/ORACLE*

Must have previous experience working in a *hospital setting* and shall
provide evidence as such.

Duration: 12 Months

Direct Client Position

Client: FDOT



Scope / Complexity:

Intermediate professional level role. Works on projects/systems/issues of
medium to high complexity. Provides daily operations support, maintenance
and administration for our active directory environment and server systems.
Works on one or more projects as a project team member, occasionally as a
project leader. May coach one or more team members on Infrastructure
related work functions.



Applicant Expectations:

Skilled in the planning, forecasting, implementation, and identification of
resource requirements for server systems of moderate complexity.

Skilled at identifying needs for various software systems running on a
virtual environment. Must be able to research, plan and implement software
service rollouts to users.

Must have the ability to perform capacity and resource planning, assessing
risks and contingency planning.

Must have experience with *Windows 2012 Active Directory Services*.

Must have experience with managing users, OU’s, objects, schema, GPO, and
groups in a Microsoft 2012 Active Directory.

Must have experience managing DNS, DHCP, GPO, DC replication, DFS, and
certificates.

Must have experience working with scripting.

Should have experience with securing a Windows 2012 environment.

Should have experience in complying with Payment Card Industry, PCI
technology standards.

Should have completed pertinent IT training related to use and management
of Active Directory, Microsoft, SAN storage, or Hyper-V/*VMWare*.



Anticipated Duties:

Coordinates and performs the installation, integration and maintenance of
physical and virtual network servers at Turnpike HQ.

Troubleshoots and repairs any server problems regarding hardware or
software.

Identifies required server hardware/software needs, recommends vendors and
performs installation of acquired product.

Coordinates and assists with daily/weekly/monthly backup jobs of the
Turnpike HQ network.

Assist with hardware purchases of blade, 1U, 2U, and other server
equipment.

Manages backup environment

Reviews requests for server technology resources.  Advises customers of
solutions, changes, and implements necessary controls to ensure the
compliance with the acquisition process for information technology and
other IT procedures.

Develops a quarterly technology assessment that includes the identification
of systems, network, operational, work load and resource priorities.
Confers with, defines and assists office supervisors in the implementation
of established plan to ensure timely processing and completion of
responsibilities.

Advises and works closely with Infrastructure Solutions Manager on the
coordination of information Technology activities, projects and
initiatives.  Ensures consultant staff participation on task teams,
provides input and represents district interest and concerns.  Interprets
policies, procedures and rules as needed, providing comments and/or
communicating changes to district managers and users.

Serves as a member Technical Advisory Group attending mandated meetings and
teleconferences.  Such participation and duties includes but is not limited
to technology research, evaluation, deployment and development of industry
products.

Should have completed pertinent IT training which would include Hyper V
and/or VMware Certification and Dell SAN Manger Certificate.

Performs other duties as assigned.



Desired Experience:

Typically has 3 to 5 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/server
environments in server operations, maintenance, design, implementation,
administration and support. Experience with Hyper-V highly, Systems Center,
and SCCM highly desired.

SCOPE OF WORK

Manage a large, complex LAN/WAN that encompasses multiple Microsoft
operating systems and server platforms.
