• Minimum of 7+ year’s proven experience as a Java Developer
• Must be strong in the following areas:
• UI dev with Google Web Toolkit ("GWT")
• Modern JavaScript libraries (Bootstrap, AngularJS, etc)
• Web Service development, preferably with Apache CXF
• Spring (Core, JDBC, AOP, etc)
• Maven
• Transactional coding in SQL with relational DBs, like Oracle,
SQL Server, and/or MySQL
• Comfortable with java web servers, like Web Logic, JBoss 7,
and Tomcat
• Complete familiarity with the SDLC
• Extremely detail oriented
• Excellent time management / task estimation skills
• Team Player
• SUPERB communication skills (speaking, listening, writing and
interpreting)
• Comfortable in an SCRUM / Agile fast paced environment, able
to multi-task without loss of integrity or negative impact on schedules
• Strong interpretation capabilities. (i.e. Understanding the
written or verbal requirement as intended and being able to translate into
technical terms for development / testing purposes)
• Must be a self-starter & very motivated
