IMHO, I would never opt for only 1 cpu. There should be at least 2, if you are going to be using parallel query, then 4 cpus. After 4, on many platforms, there is diminshing return on investment. That's my rule of thumb, and I have nothing to base it on but gut feeling. HTH, Beth -Origi
