and database it because I run OPS and RAC on NT and I haven't set a dependencies between the OSD services and the Oracle SID service. If you use DataBase Creation Assistant (DBCA) then it will not only create a service for you instance it will setup the autostart feature as well. However 9i NT

Just thought I would mention this interesting little feature. Now I don't know if I am an idiot or if something went wrong (probably both), but apparently NT services will not start the instance. I had to manually start it to get it to go? I guess in a way that's good, move little nt people
