copies of the archive logs on tape, in case one of the copies has an
error. You have the last day of archived logs online for speedy recovery and no
problems with archive logs that were created just as you copy them.

The commands: "ls -1rt" or "ls -1t" will list the files in the d
more portable to query V$ARCHIVED_LOG after runninig ARCHIVE LOG ALL instead
of using OS utilities...

ou have the SID of the culprit(s),
it is easy identify the SQL involved.

minute. The application and the number of rows in the database is not too
much different with few days ago.
