Can anyone direct me to a method or tool for checking I/O on filesystems.
the problem lies with matching up device names given by iostat to filesystem
mount point names given by df.
I.e.
iostat -xdn
extended device statistics
r/s w/s kr/s kw/s wait
Check options -m , -p
