A quick question for any of you running OOPS. We're implementing it here, and I've been doing some failure scenario testing. Anyway, what I've found is that when I execute a STOP-A on one node of a two-node cluster to simulate a panic, connections using Transparent Application Failover which failover correctly during other types of failures just seem to hang. They never return an error message, and never time out.
I've opened a TAR w/ Oracle on this, and I believe that I'm being told that this is expected failure. I just can't accept that. So my question is this - have any of you running OPS come across a similar issue?? Thanks.
