I'm also a brand new
student of Oracle. The EXACT same thing happened to me in class a couple
of weeks ago when I created a 2nd database.
The reason it
happened was that I didn't create the DB all in one day...and when I went in on
the 2nd day to finish it, I did notstartup the 2nd
One more
thing about the script I sent -- that was for 8i,
not 9i, so check it out in that respect, as
well.
