You need to migrate from 8.1.6 to 8.1.7 using the Oracle 8.1.7 CD and using the Installer and use the Database Migration Assistant or do the upgrade manually by running the u081060.sql script. That will do the migration for u. I prefer the manual method since it gives greaterf lexibility. Take
