RE log directories, try...
/usr/openv/netbackup/logs/user_ops/dbext/logs
/usr/openv/netbackup/logs/dbclient
They get purged so you may not find what you're looking for.

This is how I imagined it would work, yet the SYS ADMins are
saying that there is no request for tape in the logs. Im in a different location
