Well, I will put in my two cents since everyone else is. 1.HP-UX 2.HP-UX 3.HP-UX 4.Solaris Oracle works equally well on both of them (IMO) but HP provides you with better support, better hardware, better reliability, etc. Course, none of that is free. All in all I have not been disappointed

Dick, I agree completely with your #1. We run on all of these platforms here (the Linux is running off my desktop). I have not had any Oracle support calls on the AIX system, but it is a very lightly used db. IBM's hw support response is awesome though. I put it above HP's which is pretty
