Yong, That is the problem. It is not documented. I think that is the reason why we went down that path of designing our application. I have an email from oracle rep (RAC team member). He confirmed that with Oracle product development.
We were running RAC on Tru 64. I was told that it is an issue only on Tru 64 but Oracle claims it to be the case on all platforms. Unfortunately I am not in a position to verify this.
