list, i increased the kgl latches to 11 (from 3) and switched OFF the timed statistics and all the waits for lib cache and shared pool latch are gone !! thanks for pointing me to the timed statistic bug.. (i dont know how much the kgl parameter helped though) regards Rahul -- Please
