*Position: **Business Analyst * *Location: **Philadelphia, PA* *6 Months Contract* *F2F Required* *10+ Years* *Required Skills**:* Business Analysis, Systems Architect, XML, JSON, wireframes, video on demand, cloud streaming *Job Description:* This role is a mix of a BA and a System Architect. *Please note, NO remote work, candidate must be onsite M-F. Onsite interview required but if absolute rock star, we will try our best for a Skype Interview (this is LAST choice).* *Job Description/Overview* This person will be supporting the Stream Flight Planner product – which is a cloudTV video streaming configuration tool with very technical users The system is HIGHLY complex. Bits flow through gear to become video strung together over IP. Stream Flight Planner allows users to add/delete and monitor video streams at a macro level. The system deals with video transcoders, packages, recording management gear etc. Ideally this person has knowledge of video over IP and the related hardware and software (people from Amazon, Hulu, Apple etc). But if not, they need someone who can white board a system and have a deep understanding of how the system components integrate and interface. This person should understand SaaS (software as a service), REST, web services and REST web services – candidates should be able to use a REST client to formulate a query and read the results. The bulk of the API’s to configure gear (and data models to map gear) to stream inventory in Stream Flight Planner are over a REST interface.
