*Description**:  Opportunity in the high growth area of development and
implementation of advanced Electric Power diagnostics strategies.  Seeking
a highly motivated candidate that possesses creativity and initiative as
well as a high level of independent judgment. Candidate will be responsible
for developing and implementing advanced Electric Power Diagnostic
algorithms, analyzing big data to drive algorithm development, and lead
in-house server development to house big data.  Selected candidate must
have strong programming/algorithm development skills.*

*Candidate will be working in the following areas:*

·         Develop next generation Electric Power diagnostic and prognostic
algorithms, utilize relational database to house big data, analyze big data
to drive pattern recognition and advanced algorithm development.

·         Research, propose, and architect new server and infrastructure
solutions to fit the needs of Electric Power

·         Design, manage and maintain all production and non-production
databases, software systems, relational data marts, analytical cubes,
analytical reports/dashboards

·         Develop functional requirements to support programming strategies
including the functional interfaces and performance metrics

·         Determine physical, functional, and cloud partitioning of
Electric Power algorithms

·         Use big data for threshold settings, algorithm improvement, and
vehicle design improvement

·         Build and develop proof of concepts

·         Lead change management for new algorithm deployment

·         Stay abreast of advanced fault vehicle diagnosis, prognosis, and
fault tolerant controls

·         Interface and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams

·         Troubleshoot and root cause on-board and off-board vehicle issues

·         Support program teams on issues and vehicle health as a fleet

·         Travel as required

*Basic Required Qualifications*

·         BSE/BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software
Engineering or equivalent

·         High level of oral and written communication skills

*Additional Basic Required Qualifications*

·         Ability to work independently and learn new technology areas
without formal instruction

·         Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related
area required

·         Results driven individual with high levels of initiative and
proactivity

·         Ability to communicate ideas, plans, and results effectively via
presentations and written reports

·         Work effectively with peers, management, operations groups,
personnel, and outside organizations

·         High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and
complex

·         Proficient in at least one programming language C++, C#, Java, or
MATLAB programming languages

·         Experience with scripting tools and methods to optimize software
development and testing activities

·         Experience with cloud hosted database solution with a combination
of database platforms and tools such as MySQL, Oracle, and Hadoop

·         Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Excel-based Visual Basic
programming languages

·         Experience with automotive serial data protocols CAN and LIN
communication protocols and usage of interface equipment (e.g., NEOVI,
CANOE, etc)

·         Experience with using lab equipment tools (data collection,
scopes, power supplies, etc.

·         Experience with Object Oriented programming

·         Software Agile development is a plus
