*Position : Software Engineer with BAE Detica Modules Experience* *Location : Buffalo, NY or Baltimore, MD * *Duration : 6+ Months * *Interview : Phone Hire * *Job Description* • The BAE Fraud Management System Support resource, would perform BAE Fraud Management system support activities including stakeholder co-ordination, requirements elicitation for the Fraud Management project. • The selected candidate will be a key player in the planning, coordination, execution and implementation of an industry leading solution from an internationally recognized and award winning vendor BAE (formerly Detica and Norkom). • This is an important position and one which will require the individual to develop a solid understanding of the business needs and requirements involved in building a strategically critical solution for the bank which will play a key role in protecting our customers and the bank from losses due to Fraud perpetrated by entities from across the globe. *Job Responsibilities* • Plans, schedules, assigns, and coordinates activities across many areas on technical and operational · projects. • Reviews the progress of project activities to ensure that schedules and objectives are met. • Plans and coordinates projects involving software systems and/or applications in the assigned area. • Works with senior management to review objectives and procedures and formulate approach, design · and implementation plans to support complex projects involving many areas of technology and the bank · in general. • Maintains effective communication between information systems personnel and the users of information · services and systems. • Works to expand knowledge of banking and the business function being served. *Minimum Required Qualifications:* • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. • Seven to ten years of software development experience. • Experience implementing BAE Detica Modules Experience implementing and integrating large scale vendor solutions. • Experience implementing Fraud-related applications in a Banking or Financial Services industry. • Well-versed in fraud detection analytics and reporting, for security and risk mitigation purposes.
