*Face to Face RequiredLocation ::: NY-New York/ManhattanDuration ::: 6+ months plusJob Description:*• We are currently seeking a MicroStrategy Developer to work with our client developing effective decision support solutions. • Developer will have at least 3years of MicroStrategy development experience, experience with major data warehousing and business intelligence tools, and certification in MicroStrategy. • Strong background developing Dashboards. • Previous Financial/Investment industry experience preferred (but not required). • The Business Intelligence developer will be responsible for deployment of the user interface from the data warehouse, ETL Development, Data Analysis, and the creation of the logical user • interface and pre-defined reports. • In order to accomplish these tasks, the developer will work closely with the business users to define an intuitive interface that supports the users' information needs.
Responsibilities: * Develops reports in MicroStrategy and has the ability to understand underlying data model. * Have an understanding of MicroStrategy Desktop, Integrity Manager, Command Manager, and Enterprise Manager. * Must have strong experience developing Dashboards * Works directly with business analysts to ensure technical feasibility of all MIS related designs. * SQL Server with emphasis on Stored Procedure development - minimum 4 years. * Relational DB Design - minimum 2 years * Strong requirements gathering, interpersonal and relationship building skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
