Duration – 6+ Months Start – Immediate Rate - $45/hr C2C all inclusive………….MAX Job Description: · 8+ years in Database technologies Necessary Skills: · The Database Developer will work as part of a small (3-4 people) Agile team to move, load, manage and manipulate data behind robust online analytics applications. His or her main focus will be on ETL package creation and maintenance, development of SQL (run both in batch scripts and by an N-Tier .NET application) and performance tuning along with some database administration. Experience Required: · 5-7 years SQL development, minimum 3-4 years and recent experience using T-SQL · 3-5 years ETL development, minimum 2-3 years and recent experience using SSIS · SQL Server Performance Tuning / Optimizations · Recent programming in C#, particularly for data access / stored procedures calls · Strong understanding of data architecture for OLTP systems · Understanding of architecture / modeling for data warehouse (e.g. star / snowflake design) · Experience working with limited up-front specification in an Agile team that self-organizes and is loosely governed · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Well organized, problem solver, structured, flexible and self-starter · Able to work collaboratively with other Developers and Project Managers to ensure quality product development and successful product releases Additional skills: · Experience in a DBA capacity, particularly for large scale data projects · Experience as a Data Architect · Exposure to large-scale Data Warehouse projects · Exposure to and/or use of SSAS Roles & Responsibilities: · Design and develop ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and T-SQL · Develop and optimize database tables, SQL queries, and stored procedures · Contribute to application data architecture and data warehouse design · Help .NET developers integrate and interact with T-SQL / SSIS you have developed · Write administrative .NET applications that work against your T-SQL / SSIS · Participate within and contribute to team Agile development processes.
