Job Title: Sterling Developer Location: San Bruuno, CA Experience Level/Designation: 5+Years Duration: LongTerm No: of positions: 3 Skills: • Understanding of the setup of the Sterling OMS product • Understanding of technical areas of the product including setup of application server instances, Setup of agents used in the implementation, database optimization for core product, integration patterns used by Sterling • Development expertise in functional areas of the product: o Functional areas should include: expertise in customization of product functionality leveraging user exits, Expertise in overriding OMS out of the box components, Development expertise in these Sterling Modules: Sterling Distributed Order Management, Sterling Selling & Fulfillment Foundation, Sterling Global Inventory Visibility, Sterling Reverse Logistics. • Experience in integrating Sterling OMS with ecommerce sites and customer support tools. • Experience in working with a remote team. • Work independently with minimal direction. Responsibilities include: • Utilize functional and technical expertise to execute detailed analysis of specific modules, extensions and custom code on the current Sterling OMS implementation. • Design, develop, and implement highest-quality software solutions. • Provide functional and/or technical leadership to extended project teams – Wal-Mart employees and consultants as needed • Participate on performance tests collaborating with the performance testing team and onsite team. • Help define integration and performance test scripts to measure improvements as changes are implemented. • Help analyze, troubleshoot and tune Sterling Commerce product performance or deployment issues. • Participate in agile scrum project ceremonies. • Assist with risk management. • Work with onsite Sterling team to coordinate delivery of development, proof of concepts and research tasks as needed.
