your updated resume with contact information. *Title: Oracle Developer* *Location: Irving - TX * *Duration: 6 months* Job Description Develop tested code to modify existing architecture and make necessary changes to the system interfaces; and provide Object and Source Code to Verizon, in accordance with Verizon standards utilizing Verizon source and Object Code libraries and Configuration Management procedures. Confirm to existing coding standards by eliminating hard coded routines and replace with dynamic data driven solutions. Provide code review, and provide documentation in support thereof, to Verizon. Create and provide documents in support of this deliverable to include updated versions of design, process flow diagram, API specification, and error description Required Skills A person with at least 4 to 5 years of professional experience in ORACLE 10g/11g, SQL,PL/SQL, UNIX, LINUX, SHELL, Perl Scripts. Development and maintenance of Stored Procedures/Packages using PL/SQL Tables and collections, triggers, database creation and maintenance, conversions and upgrades. Performance and tuning experience will be plus. Experience in Telecom domain is highly preferable. Desirable to have experience in Programming Unix shell scripting. Ability to write scripts for database changes in schema, stored procedures, triggers, etc. Write custom scripts in short time for customer needs using SQL, PL/SQL in UNIX, test and deliver with instructions and support the execution process. Experience in Oracle RAC, Replication and Snapshots, client server programming are desirable. Should be able to work as a team member and individually in various releases with minimal assistance. The person should be able to work on challenging assignments, strong desire to learn new products and accept to new changes as challenges. Required to have good communication skills .
