*PL/SQL Developer 12-18+ month contract to hire - Candidate must be willing to go permanent at the end of the contract Charlotte, NC* *We are seeking a PL/SQL developer to join our team of professionals. Selected individual Must be a strong PL/SQL developer with 5+ years in Oracle. Must be able to do performance tuning on the database. Not a report writer. * Senior level Oracle PL/SQL developer to work on multiple concurrent projects to enhance an Enterprise Collections application serving multiple business units. *7+ years application development and implementation experience. 7+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development experience. Extensive experience in data modeling. Unix experience of 2+ years*. Experience working in a lead capacity within a large applications environment. Ability to document impact analysis, detailed designs and unit test plans. Excellent analytical, decision-making and troubleshooting skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently or collaboratively. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Project life cycle knowledge. Detail oriented. Prior experience with collections systems. Experience developing for a n-tier application Working knowledge of XML and Service Oriented Architecture Java development experience PERL development experience Demonstrated knowledge of Home Equity Lines and Loans, Personal Loans, Sub Prime Loans, Credit Cards and Retail Loans, Business Loans and Credit Cards, and Educational Loans. The candidates must have complex business logic. They should rank themselves as Advanced in terms of PL/SQL development. Performance tuning is key for this skill set. • More Advanced SQL and PL-SQL Development, Strong working experience in Collections ,varray, objects and PL/SQL tables. Strong working experience in Ref Cursors Knowledge of Advance Queue. Strong working experience in bulk collection and bulk exception handling. Understanding of Oracle RAC environment. Knowledge in developing database solutions using Optimized SQL and tuning existing SQL’s Experience with very large databases and/or data warehousing Some experience as an Oracle DBA Application development experience in an Oracle and J2EE environment, Data Modeling/Relational Database Design Experience creating and implementing physical databases from Logical Data Models Experience with data management, versioning of data, Database optimization experience with Oracle DBMS and experience using database-monitoring tools Strong interpersonal skills to resolve problems in a professional manner, lead working groups, negotiate and create consensus Go getter and flexible, works with minimum supervision Education: 4 year degree, Masters degree is preferred This is a fantastic 12-18 month contract to hire.
