*Location: Livingston, NJ* *Duration: 6+ months* Key to this requirement is General Ledger *Job Description:* - Client is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to play a key role in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be accountable for defining, planning, orchestrating and delivering on all projects assigned. - The candidate will have overall project management duties and be responsible to deliver on a variety of IT related projects in support of the Finance organization. - This will require broad project management background and familiarity with: - Various project management & Standards (PMI Standards, Lean, DMAIC, and DMADV) - Software development (SDLC) - Process improvement methodologies such as Agile (Scrum), Waterfall. *Required Skills:* · 8+ years of experience project managing medium to large complex projects in IT · In depth knowledge of systems development projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies · Experience in all aspects of IT projects including initiation, infrastructure, administration, application development, and implementations · Strong project management skills pertaining to IT projects and be able to work independently · Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with co-workers and management · Strong understanding of and experience in PM methodologies, Waterfall/Scrum, and SDLC · Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills ability to follow, interact with, and lead large group discussions · Comfortable in ambiguous environments and leading the team through problem solving exercises · Analytical and problem solving skills · Expert level knowledge and experience using project management tools (MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio) for developing and maintaining medium to large, complex projects · PMI PMP certified · Microsoft PPM experience a plus · In-depth knowledge of GL Systems notably PeopleSoft a plus · Scrum Master certification a plus · Experience as a technology project manager within a banking or financial services organization preferred. *Please send me the Below Details along with the 2 Professional References to be considered for submission to the Client.* 1.
