SAP SD EDI Analysts

Location: Hickory, NC

Duration: end of the year +

MUST BE ONSITE



The SAP SD EDI Analysts will:

• Provides technical support to users including problem recognition,
research, isolation, resolution and follow-up steps.
• Is able to resolve some problems immediately, while more complex problems
are assigned to second level support.
• Maintains a troubleshooting tracking log ensuring timely resolution of
problems.

• Has detailed knowledge of one skill area or basic knowledge of several
skills.
• Infrequently interorganizational and outside customer contacts on routine
matters.

Day to Day
• Communicate with customers (internal and external)
• Communicate with vendors (GXS, IBM-Gentran, Axway, Biztalk)
• Create/Maintain EDI mapping to meet customer standards (multiple document
types)
• Create/Maintain COBOL coding to meet customer standards
• Update Variant Configuration tables – creates the proper components in
the EDI documents
• Correct Consignment Extender variations to keep it correct and up-to-date
• Create/Maintain SAP EDI data tables (partner information, output control,
document control)
• Create/Maintain SAP EDI ABAP coding
• EDI testing through the full workflow – able to perform the necessary
steps to create the appropriate documents
o Create SAP sales order from inbound 850
o Create 855 from SAP sales order acknowledgement
o Create 856 from SAP delivery
o Create 810 from SAP invoice
• Correct data errors (from internal and external sources)

Must have:
Associate’s degree or  higher

SAP SD

EDI standards and practices ABAP Knowledge

Experience with these technologies

AS/400 Gentran

 AS/400 Cobol
