Thanks Position Description|Developer III/Senior J2EE Developer About the Company About the Organization: The Acquisitions Technology (AT) department is responsible for automated underwriting, credit pricing and lender selling systems for Single-Family loans. AT is a fully staffed technology organization with accountability for systems analysis, development, certification, compliance, consultation, and infrastructure for the Single-Family and Capital Markets Business Units. The Acquisitions Technology department is comprised of the following six Director-led groups: • Channels, Acquisitions, and Reporting Systems • Committing, Pricing and Delivery Systems • Underwriting Services • Platform Infrastructure • Quality and Controls About the Team: Whole Loan Committing The Committing Systems team is responsible for the full phase development, integration, and support for eCommitOne, a platform that provides automated pricing information and Best Efforts committing processes, and eCommitting, a platform for browsing live prices, managing commitments, and selling whole loans. About the Position: The Developer III will perform high complexity (i.e. system level applications) analysis, design, development, and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate will also participate in code reviews and resolve defects encountered during system and acceptance testing cycles. Responsibilities: In this section, list the top 5-7 responsibilities of this position. • Develop new components and enhancements for the Committing applications. Committing systems are implemented in a J2EE platform using Weblogic and Sybase database. • Review business requirements and use cases, and provide feedback to management and/or business analysts. • Design and document complex application functionality. • Implement complex functionality in various layers of J2EE applications including presentation, business logic, and persistence layers. • Assist QA by reviewing test plans and test case scenarios, as well as resolving test findings. • Assist production support team in trouble shooting critical issues in production. • Assist CM with code builds and migrations.
