Need Lead AEM Developer for NY – Manager is interviewing now

This is a true Lead role – candidate will be leading other AEM Developers,
must have great communication Skills
Team: Platform Engineering: oversee and manage the content and e-commerce
platforms
Team size:  60 (w/ each scholastic website with 6-8 developers)
Why open:  Migrating 11 legacy platforms to Adobe Experience
Manager

*Important skills:*
Tech – content management experience, AEM (adobe experience manager), able
to gather requirements or define them when needed
Soft – lead projects, some leadership in development is needed

*Must have:*
• 7+ years of exp w/ content management experience
• 5+ yrs of exp w/ AEM or Adobe CQ
• Experience leading small team and/or projects
• Experience w/ some requirements gathering, helping define requirements,
leading deployments

*Day to Day:*
• The Principal/Lead AEM Developer will assist with migration of legacy
platforms to  AEM.
• They will be tasked to lead small projects (ex new feature roll-out)
where they will lead 6-8 developers, help define requirements with the
business and lead deployments.
• There is a lot of integration for content, this lead developer will work
with many different stakeholder as well as with BA’s to help develop
solution.
• The manager said they have a very large team of developers to help with
the migration, what they really need are candidates that can be a lead,
  has experience leading projects and small groups of developers and can
speak with the business to help define requirements when needed).
• They should also be able to give push-back to the business when needed.
