*Position Role – Java Developer*

*Experience needed:*

*5 years +master degree or 7years +bachelors degree*



*Only GC and USC*



We are seeking a Java Developer who will provide web development support to
enable design, development, and implementation for the eCHIP project and
any upcoming projects. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop
Grumman's Information technology support services contract for the SSA.



*Description of Work:*

·       Provide web development support to the government client and enable
design, development, and implementation for the project and any upcoming
projects.

·       Oversees business/user requirements efforts as part of a full
systems development lifecycle and provide critical technical
recommendations/solutions for complex problems.

·       Directs the business process reengineering and/or business/user
requirements efforts for major projects and contribute to technical and
design discussions

   - Mentor developers and provide technical documentation support



*Basic Qualifications:*

*Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities.*

·       7 years of experience with Java and JEE technologies.

·       Object Oriented Analysis skills with experience in design
documentation

·       Object Relational Mapping technologies like JPA/Hibernate

·       SOA and web service technologies

·       Working on Struts framework and writing complex SQL queries.

·       Database experience with relational database systems like DB2,
Oracle

·       Using the IDEs like RAD, RSA

·       Messaging technologies like MQ series

·       Different application servers, preferably IBM Websphere application
server

Extensive knowledge of Design patterns and UML experience

·       Must have the ability to contribute to design and architecture
discussions

·       Must have strong analytical, problem solving, and documentation
skills

·       Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Project, MS Power Point, and MS
Visio

·       Must have development, design and production support experience



*Preferred Qualifications:*

*Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.*

·       Experience with reverse engineering projects

·       Experience with Mainframe technologies including CICS, COBOL, DB2
is a plus.

·       Experience working with Government contracts is preferred.

·       Knowledge of SSA business process and systems is a plus.

·       Excellent documentation and diagramming skills;

·       Strong communication skills and ability to interface with the
client.

·       Ability and willingness to work in tough deadlines.

·       Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

·       Knowledge of mainframe, servers and Web technologies are expected.

·       Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

·       Self-starter, highly motivated individual, and a team player who
adapts to a dynamic work environment.
