*Here is the Job Description*: *Business AnalystColumbia, SC6-12+ Months ContractMax Rate: $45/Hr on C2C* *Responsibilities*: Our client has an immediate need for a Business Analyst to assist the Office of Finance with Education Funding Act Replacement project. The scope of this project is to develop a solution that will retire an existing mainframe financial application, reduce the office's reliance on the SCDE programming team, and further improve work processes by automating processes, where possible, to eliminate manual and paper driven processes within our Finance office. This project will have two development efforts that will be running in parallel. The development of a SQL solution that will functionally operate as the current mainframe application and the development of a SQL solution that will support the new education funding plan requirements if approved by the SC Legislature. We are particularly looking for a Business Analyst that has knowledge and experience with Financial/Funding systems that can work proactively with project manager and stakeholders to define the business requirements and test cases/plans for the new funding solution.
