Job title: Python/Django Web Developer Duration: 9+ months Location: Atlanta, GA Our top-notch client is hiring a back-end web developer who will work closely with visual designers, UX designers, front-end developers, and other software engineers to bring exciting new web projects to life and to improve existing ones. Requirements: * 6+ years experience using any of the following languages: Python, Go, Erlang, Ruby, or Java. * 4+ years experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. * 3+ years experience writing web applications using a modern web stack (Django, Express, Rails, Sinatra). * 6+ years experience with SQL Databases (mysql, postgres, Oracle, other). * 2+ years experience with No-SQL Databases (MongoDb, Couch, Redis, Riak). * 1+ years experience using Git. * Experience building web applications using node.js preferred. * Experience with either IDOL or SOLR search engines Characteristics preferred. * Ability to develop and meet estimates. * Ability to manage multiple development assignments concurrently and meet deadlines consistently (juggle). * Ability to debug Ad Hoc tasks without missing deadlines. * Ability to work independently and proven problem solver. * Ability to design software solutions which are repeatable and maintainable. * Demonstrated strong communication and client interaction skills.
