The existing PERL/CGI Lead application will be converted to a Java web application in order to be able to improve application performance and be using an ITS supported platform. A limited number of functional enhancements will also be implemented to improve business practices. *day to day tasks to be performed by the Consultant (be descriptive and specific):* *Specific tasks for the Technical Architect include: * § Lead design and supervise coding from requirements and functional specifications; § Architect, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement Java application. § Work with staff to ensure smooth and correct operations of any code or web services used by the application. § Produce technical and user documentation as requested. § Any other tasks necessary for completion of project deliverables and application support. § Provide technical solutions for large scalable designs. § Communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical personnel.
