 We need an OBIEE Architect/developer with RPD and It is important that we
find someone with some experience working with pharma industry data,
specifically syndicated pharma data sets (e.g. IMS data).  Without this
experience, our tech leads will have to spend too much time on knowledge
transfer that we just can’t afford right now.  We really need someone who
can come onboard with minimal hand holding.  If you find someone with OBIEE
technical experience and syndicated pharma data knowledge would be perfect.

*Scope:*

Responsible for leading the strategy, architecture, development, support and
maintenance of client’s Data Warehouse (DW) and business intelligence (BI)
system solution.  The BI environment is comprised principally of the Oracle
BI Analytics framework utilizing OBIEE, Informatica, and other Oracle DBMS.




*Job Responsibilities:*

   - Lead facilitated sessions and communicate effectively with cross
   functional representation from the business and IT to gather, document and
   prioritize requirements that will impact the BI solution.
   - Design and ensure compliance with the governance process for all
   components that make up the BI solution.
   - Responsible for all aspects of the BI analytics solution and its
   components along with the reporting platform.   This includes OBIEE,
   Informatica, DAC, the Oracle DBMS for the DW and security, and query tools.
   - Develop, execute and maintain a strategy for implementing and
   supporting the BI solution.
   - Coordinate the management of all aspects of BI and data warehouse
   development, recommend staffing for the development of the data warehouse
   and integration with all ERP reporting systems.
   - Collaborate with application project managers and business process
   specialists to develop and design the BI environment and to determine the
   proper tools needed to meet reporting needs.
   - Oversee recommendation and adoption of commercially available
3*rd*party tools and technologies for data warehouse and business
intelligence
   reporting needs.
   - Design and implement tuning solutions to the BI and DW environment.
   - Manage the Data Warehouse Extract, Transform and Load (ETL)/Deployment
   schedule.
   - Utilizes project management and IT governance skills to manage project
   teams in support of data warehousing and business intelligence development.
   - Provides leadership and guidance for staff members in developing skills
   necessary to support and sustain the BI solution.
   - Maintains contact with professional associations and application
   software providers for the exchange of knowledge and experience.  Makes
   recommendations regarding application development tools and methodologies.
   - Reacts positively to change and handles other related duties as needed.

*Job Requirements:*

   - Dimensional data modeling techniques , Oracle BI Analytics framework,
   Informatica, DAC, Oracle RDBMS, , SQL/PLSQL, Java, , XML, Oracle EBS
   Applications.
   - Experience building and maintaining mid to large scale data warehouse
   solutions along with the ETL processes to populate the warehouse.
   - Requires BS Degree – Computer Science (or equivalent) and 10+ years
   experience in Information Technology including 3+ years building and
   supporting BI and DW solutions.
   - Experience with OBIEE, DAC, Informatica and Oracle RDBMS are critical.
   - Should have a proven track record of successfully developing and
   implementing at least one large BI project.  Requires excellent analytical,
   technical, communication, and teamwork skills.
