*Job Description: *



The company is preparing for an upgrade to PeopleSoft Financials version
9.2 and is posting this position for the Supplier Contract Management (SCM)
module lead of the upgrade.

Currently, the company has Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing and
Asset Management from PeopleSoft Financials version 8.8 implemented.  With
the upgrade to the Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System
(CAPPS) PeopleSoft 9.2 version delivered by the Texas Comptroller of Public
Accounts (CPA), the company will expand the module scope to include the
Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Contract Management modules. In addition to
the upgrade to 9.2, the company will consolidate the current five (5)
Departments into three (3) per the Senate Bill 200 mandate.

The Supplier Contract Management module lead will be responsible for
assisting with Functional Design, Configuration, Build, Test and Deployment
of the reimplementation through go-live.  There will be a coordinated
effort with both the re-implementation of version 8.8 core modules on CAPPS
version 9.2 and a separate project to implement an Enterprise Contract
Management system that is non-PeopleSoft.  HHCS intends to leverage
PeopleSoft 9.2 SCM capabilities throughout the procurement lifecycle,
including document authoring, clause and document content management, and
collaboration/approval workflows. This position requires multi-tasking,
exercising initiative and independent judgment.





•           Responsible for working with the functional and technical
teams, DBAs and business users on system requirement gathering,  analysis,
design and implementation of 9.2 functionality specific to the SCM module;

•           Responsible for identification, documentation, and reporting of
identified project risks to project management;

•           Participates in and leads meetings between stakeholders,
resources and project leadership to ensure the SCM solution is aligned with
the overall HHSAS to CAPPS 9.2 project goals and direction;

•           Conducts and documents Joint Application Design/Conference Room
Pilot requirement sessions with management, staff and consultants.

•           Responsible for consistent utilization of standardized
processes and forms to manage project documentation, including but not
limited to, Functional Design Documents, Key Design Decisions, Change
Controls, Risk Registers, Scope Documentation, Work Packages, Business
Process Flows and other project documents as needed;

•           Works with the training department to ensure accurate design of
(UPK) training delivery materials before they are presented;

•           Responsible for conducting SCM module Fit/Gap analysis and
accurately documenting in the Requirements Traceability Matrix;

•           Configures SCM module to meet business requirements.

•           Works with SME/Business Owners and Project Team to provide
input to project management, functional lead and others in the development
of the detailed Project Schedule;

•           Works with SME/Business owners to bridge currently manual
business processes to PeopleSoft Supplier Contract Management 9.2
functionality.

•           Works with SME/business owners and project team to minimize
modification of PeopleSoft Supplier Contract Management 9.2

•           Works with Enterprise Support Center teams to mitigate risks
and resolve issues throughout implementation as needed;

•           Completes tasks in an efficient and timely manner while keeping
project stakeholders informed;

•           Provides various administrative services and reports necessary
to control the project budget, schedule, scope and quality.

•           Responsible for developing Function Design Documents (FDD) and
Interface Mapping documents.

•           Responsible for working with the technical team to ensure that
FDDs are clearly understood prior to tech design and build;

•           Works with the technical team to define and test any potential
customizations to the solution, including data conversions, reports,
interfaces and functional enhancements of the CAPPS Texas Baseline of
PeopleSoft Supplier Contract Management version 9.2;

•           Performs and documents SCM module system and integration
testing.

•           Responsible for ensuring project cohesiveness with separate
Enterprise Contract Management (non-PeopleSoft) system implementation
project.



The worker should have a history of leading successful PeopleSoft Supplier
Contract Management Implementations using project management best practices
and possess deep expertise in Supplier Contract Management 9.2 including
delivered integrations with PeopleSoft Strategic Sourcing and Purchasing.



*Mandatory Requirements:*

•           8 years of experience Proven project team building skills

•           8 years of Experience writing detailed Functional Design
Documents (FDDs)

•           8 years of Experience with Microsoft Suite (Projects, Visio,
Excel, Word, Power Point)

•           6 years of Experience participating in large complex high
availability PeopleSoft Financials implementation projects

•           6 years of Experience performing PeopleSoft System Test,
Integration Test, and User Acceptance Test

•           6 years of Experience conducting design sessions with subject
matter experts and business process owners to meet business requirements
with minimal customizations.

•           4 years of Experience implementing PeopleSoft Purchasing
version 9.0 or higher, including gathering business requirements,
conducting and documenting fit/gap sessions, and system configuration.

•           4 years of Experience as a PeopleSoft functional module lead
for large PeopleSoft implementation.

•           4 years of Experience in IT project planning, research,
analysis and development

•           4 years of Experience writing and reviewing detailed test
scripts for System, Integration, and User Acceptance Test Phases.

•           2 years of Experience designing, configuring, and testing
PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) workflow approvals, version 9.1
or higher.

•           2 years of Experience implementing PeopleSoft Supplier Contract
Management version 9.0 or higher.

•           2 years of Experience gathering business requirements,
conducting and documenting fit/gap sessions, and system configuration for
PeopleSoft Supplier Contract Management module.

•           2 years of Experience with configuration documentation and
review in PeopleSoft 9.2

•           2 years of Experience teaming with business owners and
technical staff in a complex, large scale PeopleSoft environment 8.8 to 9.2

•           2 years of Experience with PeopleSoft version 9.2 and
PeopleTools 8.53

•           Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all
levels of an organization.

•           Experience with the PeopleSoft 9.2 Modules G/L, A/P, AM, PO,
eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contract Management

•           Experience in managing and coordinating functional module leads
through a PeopleSoft Implementation or Upgrade



*Desired Experience:*

•           8 years of Understanding of computer related tools, methods,
platforms and operating systems.

•           8 years of Experience with all aspects of Documentation,
Planning, Design, Build, Test, and Deploy Phases within PeopleSoft versions
8.X through 9.2 Modules for PO, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contract

Management.

•           4 years of Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local
Government).

•           4 years of Experience with PeopleSoft User Productivity Kit
(UPK)

•           Experience with the CAPPS State of Texas Baseline PeopleSoft
9.2 Modules G/L, A/P, AM, PO, eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier
Contract Management

•           Ability to set and meet functional team deadlines while
