*Job Description*
The Programmer Analyst works directly with the Sr. Software Engineer to
develop and enhance information systems. Will develop and distribute
reports, BAQs and BPMs to be used with the Epicor system. The Programmer
Analyst will complete testing of written reports and applications based on
design specifications as defined by the requirements of the business
including: development, enhancement, evaluation, procedure development and
training. The successful candidate must have recent experience working with
Epicor.
*Principal Duties and Responsibilities*
· Create and maintain SSRS and Crystal Reports
· Maintain and modify Epicor business activity queries (BAQs),
business process management (BPMs) and Dashboards
· Work with end-users to develop KPIs then create executive
dashboards to display
· Overall support capabilities for ERP and business systems
· Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as
whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted
results in a related part
· Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct
deficiencies based on consultation with Sr. Software engineer and approval
of supervisor
· Contribute in various related IT projects as a team member
or lead
· Work with .net Sales and customers web applications (must be
able to support and develop as required)
· Write and maintain programming and end-user documentation
· Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information
being processed, stored or accessed
· Document programming problems and resolutions for future
reference
*Requirements*
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 3+ years experience in associated field
* Must have functional and capable knowledge of *SQL and SSRS*
* Recent experience with *Epicor Ver. 9:05, 10, or 10.1*
* Knowledge of relational databases and client/server environments
* Experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
*Experience with Any of the Following is a Plus*
* NET (Web Apps), Visual Basic, C#, Crystal Reports
* Working knowledge of application server environments
* Experience in Progress/Open Edge
* MS SQL Server 2008-2014
