*Title: **Enterprise Architect* *Duration: 12 to 36 months* *Location: **San Francisco, CA* *Need USC or GC or EAD only* *Interview: phone then Face2Face* *Client: Judicial Council of California, Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC)* *Position Summary* Client is looking to obtain the services of a qualified Enterprise Architect to provide consultation services to our client. As new technologies are contemplated for adoption to support our client's mission critical applications, an Enterprise Architect is required to help ensure the technologies are appropriate for the business requirements, compatible with existing infrastructure and that technologies are deployed in an optimal configuration. The Enterprise Architect consults, researches, and evaluates technical solutions to support the successful attainment of the enterprise strategy. *Scope of Tasks* o Provide technical leadership and direction for the applications deployed by our client o Participate in the ongoing development, refinement and leveraging of the Technical Architecture as requested by the client, with a focus on ensuring compatibility across application environments. o Participate in developing processes around the implementation and maintenance of the client's Enterprise Technical Architecture and related documentation o Participate in ongoing weekly and quarterly technical and project team meetings and represent the Enterprise Architecture program at Project Management Community of Practice meetings o Facilitate and coordinate technical issue identification and resolution o Assist in the creation and evaluation request for proposals for vendor, software and hardware selection. • Establish technology standards and policies, conducting research into a variety of technologies as required. *Requirements * *Minimum Qualifications:* o 10+ years as an Enterprise Solutions Architect with extensive experience in large-scale custom Java EE web application architecture, design, development, deployment and operations in a complex deployment environment. o Experience directing teams of architects, programmers, analysts and testers in a variety of small to large-scale projects. o 10+ years experience in designing distributed enterprise-level architectures for mission-critical systems. o Private as well as public-sector experience, preferably in state government. o Strong system analysis skills, experienced across the complete project lifecycle. o Experienced developing the technology solution requirements for customer request for proposals. o Familiarity with virtualization technologies o Ability to provide solutions in an environment involving multiple datacenters: an in-house datacenter, colo datacenter, hosted datacenter, Software as a Service and a future Cloud datacenter. *Additional Skills/Qualifications Desired:* o Experience with cloud technologies and cloud vendors o Experience with migrating data centers from hosted data centers to cloud providers • Experience developing cloud hosting requirements for organizations migrating to the cloud *Thanks & Regards* *Sr. Technical Resource Specialist* *214-628-5329\ nik...@vastika.com <nik...@vastika.com>* *1200 W Walnut Hill Ln.
