GSUSA is implementing various enterprise-class systems for use by national
headquarters and 112 councils. Customer Engagement Initiative (CEI) is a
suite of applications that support the Girl Scouts business with functions
such as membership management (similar to a CRM), program/event management,
fund raising, financials, and others. The core of CEI is Salesforce
supplemented by association software by RoundCorner.

The Salesforce Administrator will maintain the Salesforce application to
ensure continued delivery of solutions to meet business needs of GSUSA and
councils. This position is responsible for the overall setup,
configuration, and operation of our Salesforce instances and continued
operations. The Salesforce Administrator will independently perform
testing, implementation, documentation, and updating tasks relating to the
Salesforce system and integrated applications

*Essential Functions – Primary duties of the position*

   - Day to day administration of Salesforce platform and integrated
   applications.
   - Maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings
   etc.
   - Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules,
   custom workflow, and approval processes.
   - Establish and implement best practices with regards to system
   maintenance, configuration, development, testing, data integrity, etc.
   - Design and build Salesforce custom objects, page layouts, workflows,
   alerts, reports and dashboards within Salesforce.
   - Develop and maintain report folders, dashboards, etc. to improve
   system usability.
   - Maintain a holistic view of all business processes and users in the
   system to understand cross functional impacts with regard to configuration,
   process, workflow and reporting.
   - Support platform integrations with other third party solutions.
   - Make recommendations for enhancements and modifications to improve
   system performance, efficiency, internal business process, and reporting.
   - Provide hands on training as needed.
   - Research and recommend best practices for Salesforce and related
   applications.  Keep abreast with new Salesforce.com features and
   functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements.

*Other Duties*

   - Provide functional application knowledge to end users and GSUSA staff
      - *·         *Provide technical support to helpdesk in supporting
      applications



*Required Skills – Competencies – Qualifications*

   - 3-5 years’ work experience in a technical discipline
   - Programming experience is a plus
   - Salesforce Administrator certified is a plus
   - Ability to interact with senior members of management, including
   C-level executives.
   - Successfully manage multiple concurrent projects.
   - Prepare and present clear business and technical analysis.
   - Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong work
   ethic.
   - Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
