*Position:- SAP Master Data Consultant* *Location:-Minneapolis, MN* *Duration:- 12+ months, * *MOI:- Telephonic + Skype* *Top Three Must Haves:* · *SAP Master Data Integration experience in MM, PP, WM, SD, and FI modules. * · *Deep functional and integration experience in the core SAP modules of MM and SD and more generic knowledge across PP, WM, and FI. * · *3+ years’ experience with data conversion and reconciliation including SQL.* *POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: * · Responsible for the successful implementation of SAP modules and processes within the Product Lifecycle Management and Master Data management core processes. · Accountable for all project life cycle phases, with emphasis on translating user requirements into functional specifications for any associated Reporting, Data · Conversion, Data Mapping, Interfaces, Integration, Enhancements, and Process design needs. · Primary responsibility for the successful implementation and configuration of SAP processes within the Product Lifecycle Management Core Process of the Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Center, and Document Info Record. · Deep understanding of the business value drivers that underpin data management activities, a high level understanding of SAP master data, a customer service orientation combined with an aptitude for driving new initiatives through the business. An understanding of SAP and mainframe computer systems is also essential. · Assess the business customer requirements, match these requirements to objectives and guide them to the SAP processes and products including developing specifications and enhancements that will achieve the customers and business goals. · Prepare Data Mapping documents, Data Conversion Specifications, and Data Quality Documents for Master Data Conversion form legacy application. · Write test script for master data conversion reconciliation and develop SQL queries for master data reconciliation processes. · Maintain documentation, including solution, BPP, configuration, functional specification, and test scripts. · Plan, develop, and implement advanced concepts, techniques, and standards that support the strategic objectives of the applicable group. · Work independently with end-users and business partners to assess the business customer requirements, match these requirements to objectives and guide them to the applicable processes and products including developing specifications and enhancements that will achieve the customers and business goals. · Develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which require a high degree of ingenuity, creatively, and innovativeness. Challenges are frequently unique and solutions may serve as precedent for future decisions. · Market and communicate program vision to project teams, key business stakeholders, and executive leadership. Ensure continued business sponsorship, engagement, and commitment. · Ensure proper validation documentation is created for all projects (i.e. MSCM). *DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * · Develop overall plan for assessment, review, development, testing, training and implementation of enhancements · Strong experience in master data management techniques and technologies to improve the usage and utilization of master data. Develop design specifications and definitions. · Experience in business process definition, business process improvement, requirements definition, and technology solution research. · Assist with and ensure compliance to Data Governance standards and data policies. · Document data content, relationships, structure, and flow, processes that manage, transform, or touch data, business rules that govern data and durations for which data is required. · SAP data model and data structures and experience in mass data maintenance. · 3+ years’ experience with data conversion and reconciliation including SQL. · Ability to write conversion specifications, functional specifications, and technical specifications for adding functionality or enhancements. · Experience in sophisticated testing methodologies (Unit test, Integration Testing, Interface Testing, Volume, UAT, Regression) using Quality Center. · High level of accuracy for data conversion, error analysis and structural resolution. · Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science or business related discipline. · Ability to write conversion specifications, functional specifications, and technical specifications for adding functionality or enhancements. · Comprehensive understanding of complex software and information technology solutions and ability to apply to client needs. · Large Global SAP ERP system implementation experience. · SAP Master Data Integration experience in MM, PP, WM, SD, and FI modules. · Deep functional and integration experience in the core SAP modules of MM and SD and more generic knowledge across PP, WM, and FI. · Experience in loading data into SAP through CATT, LSMW, or TxShuttle. · Working knowledge of SAP’s security model.
