• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 8 to 12 years of technical solutions experience including 2
– 4 ETL/DW/BI based Project implementation experience, 3+ years of
experience in Big Data Analytics
• Hortonworks Hadoop Distribution Platform experience
• Industry vertical application for Big Data/Analytics
Experience with Hadoop ecosystem of tools for Data ingestion like Apache
Flume, Apache Sqoop, Apache Kafka, for
Data transformation like MapReduce, Pig, Hive, for Data stores like Hive,
HBase is must.
• Proficiency in working with database / engines like Teradata
is needed.
• Experience in Linux, Shell scripting and Python scripting is
a must.
• Good to have Core Java knowledge but not mandatory
• Deployment of a large distributed Big Data Application
• Experience in Requirements Engineering, Solution Design,
Development and Deployment
• Strong communication skills
• Strong technical team leadership, mentor-ship and
collaboration working in a global delivery model (Onsite / Offshore teams
