Hadoop Tester Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: Long Term • Cloudera Hadoop Testing experience (or similar like Hortonworks etc) • QA / testing background • HP QC expertise • Data Quality testing, Metadata (not just ETL) experience • Hands on Functional testing • Some knowledge of automation would help but not necessary • Banking domain or general BFSI experience • 2+ years of Agile experience – Scrum certification desired • Hands on experience with data testing methodologies, tools & practice • Experience in testing & quality assurance of data, data conversion, analytics, ETL, BI Report testing, Hadoop stack • Assist in ratifying test strategies, test data strategies (creation, retention, utilization & refresh) • Create (& collaborate with others to create) test data • Author test scenarios, test cases • Execute test cases • Provided detailed daily status to test lead • Provide intelligence to the team to improve the quality & coverage of test scenarios • Leverage personal experience to author test scenarios, test cases for applications, platform, automation testing • Provide intelligence & guidance for performance testing Thanks & Regards Laxman Sr. IT Recruiter Pace Computer Solutions Inc.
