Cloud Security Engineer, Irving, TX



Responsibilities:

 - Build security utilities and tools for internal and external use that
enables secure software

 - Develop code using secure coding best practices

 - Performing security testing and evaluations as directed

 - Conduct code reviews to identify security loopholes and remediate them

 - Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans

 - Architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate security-focused
tools and services

 - Advise and consult with developers on risk assessment, threat modeling
and fixing vulnerabilities

 - Participate in security compliance efforts

 - Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and
technologies



 Qualifications:

 - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent

 - Sound knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, AngularJS and cloud
computing (preferably AWS)

 - Experience with service-oriented architecture and large scale batch
processing

 - 5+ years of IT implementation experience

 - 1+ years experience in IT security, compliance and risk management,
including privacy, controls, etc.

 - At least 3 years of experience in infrastructure or application-level
vulnerability testing and auditing

 - Experience with industry compliance and security standards such as ISO
27001, HITECH and NIST

 - At least 1 year of experience involved (in a development, QA testing, or
security role) with development team(s) that delivered software-based
services

 - Knowledge of network and web related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP,
IPSEC, HTTP, BGP and other routing protocols)

 - Strong scripting skills in multiple common languages (e.g., Perl,
Python, shell scripting)

 - Detailed knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation
techniques, including penetration testing and the development of exploits
