Description:

Primary Purpose

Looking for an early- to mid-career ETL Developer responsible for creating
and maintaining the data integration process between business partners and
internal applications.

This role will primarily be focused on customer-facing business
transactions (orders, order confirmations, shipping notifications, and
invoices).

The ETL developer is also responsible for data analysis, cleansing,
conversion, and transformation of various file formats to and from a SQL
Server relational database.

The candidate will also need to develop reports and perform analysis on
various datasets.



Primary Responsibilities

Maintaining and providing support for electronic transactions between
customers and internal operational systems, primarily MS SQL Server
utilizing an ETL tool (Seeburger).

Working with external customers, internal sales, operations, and customer
service teams to prioritize and schedule delivery of solutions that
optimize their respective business functions.

Utilizing SSRS and other reporting and analysis tools, tracking metrics and
ensuring reliability for B2B-enabled customers and partners.

Acting as a point of contact for enhancement requests and project
time/effort estimates within the project scope.

Supporting the day-to-day operations of our customer-facing integration
points.



Knowledge/Skills/Ability/Other

5+ years of progressively responsible IT experience in a business
environment.

3+ years programming experience (with error handling) with at least one 3GL
language set.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Strong capability with MS Office, specifically MS Excel

Successful candidates will be quality oriented and demonstrate great
attention to detail.

Ability to perform gap analysis of customer requirements against current
system functionality and business rules.

Familiarity with 'lights-out' operations, exception-based management, and
one or more job scheduling tools.

Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to interact with multiple teams and business partners both formally
and informally.

Ability to explaining technical concepts, challenges, and solutions in
non-technical terms.

3+ years expertise in Transact-SQL or PL/SQL

1+ years of report writing experience using a graphical report writer -
E.g. SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
