Role:- Project Manager Consultant with Applicant Tracking System (using IBM
BrassRing)

Location:-San Jose,CA



Duration:-Long Term





*Education:*

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Science. Minimum 10+ years’
experience. Or, graduate degree and Minimum 10+ years’ experience.  PMP
Certification required.



*Span of Authority:*

Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new projects,
while following the PMO defined processes. Exercises  judgment in selecting
methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Owns and
manages the projects within a given business process area, while working
closing with the business leads and the IT business partner.



*Project Management Responsibility:*

Responsible for on-time, on-budget and to-spec completion of complex
projects. Extensive experience with project management methodology for
leading team members in defining, staffing, and organizing complex,
cross-functional projects. Recognized Project Management expert; maintains
up-to-date Project Management knowledge and best practices and trains
others. Ensures that the project scope is managed. Manages change control
effectively.



*Supervisory Responsibility:*

Leads and manages internal and external personnel assigned to be project
resources. Negotiates assignment of critical resources.



*Technical Knowledge, Skills and Job Knowledge:*

Extensive knowledge of program and project management methodology, planning
and control techniques. PMP Certified a must. Strong knowledge of
semiconductor industry .



Applies expertise to project management challenges. Develops strategies
integrating processes that deliver cost savings, performance and yield.
Demonstrates broad knowledge and experience with roles and
interrelationships of each business unit/functions.



*Strategic Thinking / Setting Winning Goals:*

Understands the bigger picture of how the project impacts other business
units or functions within the company worldwide. Proactively manages and
owns the project plan process Identifies risks associated with
implementation and development of contingency plans.



*Performance Management / Accountability:*

Sets high standards and expects individual initiative. Promotes
rewards/recognition for positive results/behavior and consequences for poor
performance/behavior. Works effectively on major initiatives with little
direction or supervision. Keeps senior leadership and key stakeholders
informed as needed.

Selects methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results,
with management support. Brings logical options and solutions to
management, supported by well-thought-out analysis. Quickly identifies red
flags, patterns and issues indicated by data.



*Influencing / Negotiating:*

Strong  communication skills. Promotes ideas and proposals persuasively.
Effectively shapes stakeholder opinions and drives process. Understands
span of influence and has the ability to utilize these skills effectively.
Ability to get things done while keeping the relationship intact.



*Managing Client and Stakeholder Expectations:*

Actively negotiates the terms of client and stakeholder relationships and
articulates what's expected from both sides of the partnership.
Instrumental in helping team members establish healthy, collaborative
relationships. Defines practices and processes for managing client and
stakeholder expectations.

Demonstrates ability to influence senior leaders. Keeps team focused on
most critical project goals and initiatives. In Team Lead role, sets high
expectations, communicates vision and influences others to achieve team
goals. Models professionalism and leading by example. Is respected by and
provides guidance to less senior team members. Inspires commitment and high

Works effectively with others to develop project management solutions.
Drives decision closure across organizational boundaries. Gains buy-in and
