Equivalent level or superior level knowledge with demonstrable experience will be considered. · Experience with F5/ Palo Alto and Riverbed Steelhead devices a plus · network protocols and services in a dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 topology: ◦iBGP/eBGP/MP-BGP/MPLS/L3VPN/LDP/VPLS/L2VPN/Pseudowire/OSPF/EIGRP · Must have advanced mastery of service provider and enterprise level routing and overlay technologies in a multi-tenanted network topology. · Must have demonstrable experience in design and delivery of dual stack IPv4/IPv6 networks in a multi-tenanted network topology. Both transition/migration as well as green-field implementation experience desired. · Experience in the design and deployment of large networks supporting the IoT space or other large scale topologies desired. · Service Provider experience desired · Minimum of 7 years in computer related field with a focus on enterprise networks and a specific emphasis in IP networking, 10+ years preferred. · CCIE Route/Switch and CCIE Service Provider certification desired. Equivalent level or superior level knowledge with demonstrable experience will be considered. · Must also be familiar with Cisco VOIP environment · Efficient troubleshooting skills required *Responsibilities:* · Drive the design, innovation, and advancement of the internal MPLS networks · Responsible for staying abreast of emerging network technologies and analyzing them for their potential to deliver heightened services and solutions to our business, customers, and patients. · Responsible for campus LAN network design and optimization. · Must have advanced understanding and mastery of service provider/carrier level network equipment, design, and security of systems in a sizable enterprise environment. · Responsible for design, implementation, and engineering oversight of enterprise firewall deployments and leading enterprise micro-segmentation initiatives. · Consults with management and architecture staff to analyze requirements for information management and functional operations, to determine scope and priority of projects, and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions · Supports the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization. · Provides general technical guidance and mentors junior level network administrators/engineers in the department. · Assists as needed with negotiations and contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products for America’s offices. · Keeps management and architecture staff informed through regular communication of network health and its ability to deliver business needs and meet overall demand.
