At the heart of this capability is the ability to systematically gather,
cleanse, structure and analyze primary data about the companies and markets
that we do research on. We are looking for a talented professional who
understands information lifecycle and with can help the department to get
actionable insights from raw and diverse datasets.
The Data Wrangler will play mission critical roles in research and
exploration of new data sets, integrating existing data sets into the data
pipeline, and executing ad hoc research projects. The person will work
closely with the broader team including analysts, data scientists, web
miners, and data quality / operations personnel.
The ideal candidate in this role is someone with extensive technical skills
in the domain of data acquisition and preparation. Strong technical / data
/ web skills are a must along with excellent communication and project
management skills. The individual must be resourceful and be able to use a
diverse set of development skills to solve difficult data challenges.
