You’ll set stretch goals for your team, create achievable plans and estimates, and manage the deliverables. • Develop career progression plans for your team, helping them build their skills in support of their development plans and objectives. • Contribute to the code base in all tiers of our apps and ensure quality and standards through code reviews. Design and maintain APIs used by web apps, mobile apps, and backend processes. • Give a heads-up to the Head of Engineering for any risks, issues, or challenges in the team. What you’ll use/Required: * C# and WebAPI for API logic and backend processes * SQL Server with Entity Framework * Angular2 and NodeJS for application development * Automated testing framework * Git based workflow including Continuous Integration What we’re looking for in you: You have a passion for technology and can think critically about performance, scalability, and reliability of software. You’ve designed and implemented fast and efficient software solutions using object-oriented languages, leveraging relational/non-relational database technology. You’ve led or mentored teams before and you liked it. More details: * 6+ years of relevant engineering experience with both hands-on development and leadership. (Bonus points if you’ve led off-shore team members and contractors.) * A knack for motivating others and knowing what makes them tick * Experience using C#, Web API, SQL Server, Entity Framework, Angular2, Node JS, Automation Testing, GIT * College or University degree in computer science, software engineering, or computer information systems * Great at getting things done in tight timelines. * You know how to practically apply project management and SDLC principles in a real world software company.
