He said that the ideal candidate is a SQL expert with strong Python and/or Perl experience. This is the person who will get hired for this role. He said this to me: SQL is used in programming and designed for managing data held in a relational database management system of for processing in a relational data stream management system. The client needs someone who can build ETL to move and manage data across systems using SQL. They need people who can write very complex aggregate queries and then code it in Python and/or Perl. This is the key to filling this role. The client does NOT want to see ETL / Informatica developers or developers using any other ETL tools. He said if I see Informatica (or any other ETL tools) listed in the resume more than twice, then I should pass on the candidate. I need to see a ton of SQL and Python (or Perl) experience for this role. I hope this helps you so that we can fill some of these roles.
