RTSP / DSM-CC / VREP Spring / Hibernate / JBoSS / Tomcat / MySQL / NoSQL Description As a session team developer, you'll work with a geographically distributed team (China, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts) on video back office software. This software is deployed at the largest MSOs in the world and provides video on demand and next generation services to millions of subscribers. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with architects and other developers to design and implement new features in the product. Debugging and trouble-shooting multiple threaded applications, data store transactions and communication protocols. Execute assigned tasks in a timely & efficient manner. Effectively communicate status, metrics and issues on a regular basis. Skills & Requirements: 5 years hands-on experience in coding and debugging J2EE applications, solid understanding of JAX-WS/RS, JPA and JMS 5 years developing distributed web service based software in a Unix/Linux environment 3 years working with streaming video software applications, basic understanding of MPEG encoding format and streaming multiplexing 2-5 years developing software against the Spring/JBoss/Tomcat/mySQL technology stack 1-5 years collaborating with offshore development and test teams Knowledge of Edge QAM resource management a big plus.
