The primary purpose of this work effort is for Regulatory Tracking Cognos Reports Project. The project involves Analyzing current Regulatory Tracking Cognos data framework, query subjects and reports. Update existing Regulatory Tracking Cognos reporting environment to work with InSight Manager v4.6. This work includes correcting and extending the data framework for the existing query subjects as well as creating new query subjects. These subjects will be used by the business clients to create Ad-hoc reports. The data framework for the query subjects used by the Standard reports as well as the Standard reports developed using Cognos Report Studio may need to be corrected depending on whether the Ad-hoc reports meet the business requirements. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ A project is currently underway to implement a Procure to Pay solution solving business problems around the various aspects of contracts, purchasing, vendor invoicing, and vendor payment. This project brings in a 3rd party SaaS (Software as a Service) solution which will integrate with various Bridgewater systems. *2. Role: QA Lead Location: Westport, CT Duration: 6 +months Contract* We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to run our Quality Assurance (QA) effort. The expectation is for this to be a one person show given the timeline and the scope of work; although the possibility of building a larger team does exist. The individual will need to operate as both the test case creator and project tester. Testing will range from system to system integration points to system configuration and design ensuring a match to user requirements. The QA Lead/Engineer will work with Core Tech and the business to test systems integrations, load/performance, and end user configuration and experience. Experienced technologist (5-7 yrs) of QA specific work experience including having built testing plans, technical integration testing, and end user testing. Experience in test plan design for both developed software and user experience Detailed knowledge of the software engineering process, preferably gained through experience as a developer Knowledge of QA best practices and experience with QA across all aspects of the SDLC Experience with SQL scripts (writing / executing), along with general knowledge of data oriented systems. Experience with white/black box and performance testing. Experience with a number of SDLC methodologies including Agile, Iterative, Waterfall. Experience with automation tools plus the ability to articulate the pros and cons of automation and make good business decisions regarding automation investment. IBM Certified WebSphere Commerce v6/v7 administrator a plus Hands-on experience with all Commerce web tools including user management, scheduled jobs administration, registry refresh, eSpots Hands-on experience with Commerce config manager, config_ant scripts Knowledgeable with Dynacache configuration and troubleshooting. Experience with Stage Propagation, BODL, vendor data feeds, dbClean Experience with Commerce vendor integrations including Avalara, Cybersource, Bazaarvoice, Akamai, etc Proficient with WebSphere tools including IBM Heap Analyzer, PMAT, Thread Analyzer, can read GC logs. Knowledgeable with DB SQL commands. Work with DBAs on system setup, troubleshooting. Experience with Oracle DB a plus. Proficient in using WebSphere performance tools such as Wily Introscope and Tivoli Performance Viewer. Working knowledge and understanding of Networking/Routing concepts, Checkpoint firewalls, F5 load balancers, and MQ. Experience on AIX and/or Red Hat Linux.
