*Project Location* *Jersey City, NJ* *Duration* *6+ Months Contract* *Interview Mode: Phone + Skype* *Visa: Any* *Job Description:* *HP Asset Manager SME* - 10+ years of proficient experience with the following: - Strong knowledge of implementing *HP Asset Manager* - Define and map Configuration items to key hardware and software assets - Define application and hardware relationships and integrate to key data sources - Develop and formalize software asset management policies, procedures, and governance for managing and optimizing the purchase, deployment, maintenance, utilization, and disposal of software within the company - Engage in technical workshops with client stakeholders and build/tailor/configure technology to align with defined requirements - Conduct a system migration from the Development environment to the QA environment and validate system & interfaces functions as expected - Set up UAT HP Asset Manager environment, removing any data captured prematurely and ensure environment mirrors production system Update Configuration Management policies *HP Asset Manager expected Tasks* 1. Create schedule table in Asset Manager to handle schedule date of patch 2. Add fields, as appropriate, to existing tables in Asset Manager 3. Provide ability to group asset records by vulnerability, maintenance schedule, criticality and patch group in Asset Manager. 4. Build Incident Management category structure/workflow 5. Build Problem Management category structure/workflow 6. Build Change Management category structure/workflow 7.
